Honoring Veterans at Community Event
Residents, guests and, most notably – veterans – enjoyed a festive, inspired gathering at the clubhouse of Summerfields Friendly Village in Williamstown. Joining the event were residents and veterans from their “sister” community, Summerfields West – South Jersey’s most affordable 55+ active adult community, also located in Williamstown. The event included celebrating the dedication to America and personal sacrifices put forth by all of the community’s veterans, as well as past and current members of the U.S military. Kevin Heydel, Business Administrator and Assistant to the Mayor of Monroe Township, delivered a heartfelt speech in acknowledgement of veterans in New Jersey and throughout America.
“It was a truly memorial occasion for everyone in attendance, particularly for those who have served their country,” remarked Brian Temple, President of the Temple Companies, developer of both communities. “The turnout was heartwarming and everyone came together in unison to express their appreciation for the countless contributions our veterans have made to enable and preserve our freedom.
